Our courier service will try 3 consecutive business days to deliver your package and obtain a signature of someone over 21. If they still miss you, they will hold your package at the nearest customer center for 5 business days where you can pick it up. 

If someone over 21 isn’t at home during the day, we can always ship to the following locations:

1.)   Your Work or Office Address

2.)   Local Shipping Courier Store

3.)   A Friend or Neighbor’s Address

Since someone will be around to sign at these locations, the wines will be dropped off so you can pick them up whenever you are ready!

If your order has already shipped…

You can always reroute or reschedule your delivery at any time through UPS MyChoice or FedEx Delivery Manager (depending on which state you live in). 

It’s rare, but sometimes wine is affected in transit by temperature changes, pressure changes, or mishandling by delivery personnel.

Fear not! We’ll replace it immediately – no questions asked. Just email service@casacarlowine.com and we’ll take care of the rest.

Since we are shipping alcohol, federal law requires a signature upon delivery.

We send an email with the tracking information for your wine as soon as it leaves our warehouse. This will tell you the delivery date so you can plan accordingly.

Not home during the day? We can ship to your work address or local FedEx store. This makes it so the wines will be signed for and you can pick them up at your leisure.

Once you place your order, we’ll take 1 – 2 business days to hand pack it. Then, we’ll send you a tracking email when your wines leave our facility.

After they ship, your wines usually take 2 – 3 business days to arrive.

Yes! We’re flattered you thought of sharing our wines with someone special in your life. 

We can send wines to whoever you like in a nice gift bag or box with a special custom message. Just shoot us a message at service@casacarlowine.com and we’ll help make it the best gift ever!

We currently only offer our wines at selective restaurants and through our online store.

Our wines are meant to be enjoyed right when you receive them, fresh out of the bottle. 

To store them, we recommend keeping them in a cool, dark place such as a pantry, cellar, or in a fridge. We also recommend consuming an opened bottle within 3-4 days.

Our wines feature crisper profiles without heavy additives and chemical gunk. They are fresh and vibrant, and a cooler temperature helps them express these qualities.

For our reds: serve them between 60-68 degrees Fahrenheit. High tannin wines smooth out a bit at warmer temperatures and really bring out their notes. 

For our whites: serve them cold, at 40-50 degrees. We recommend storing them in the fridge and removing them 15 minutes before opening.

That said, these are all suggestions. If you prefer wines slightly warmer, try it, and let us know how it goes!

We believe that additives are subtractive.

Additives are very common in commercial wines. In fact, there are 70+ industrial additives approved by the FDA for the use in winemaking, including thickeners, dyes, and flavoring.  

We have a philosophy of pure wine made without additives.

Generally, there are only 3 ingredients in our wines: grapes, yeast, and sulfites. 

So, while there is no official “gluten-free” designation for our wines, you can rest assure that they are “gluten-free.”

Sulfites are a food preservative widely used in winemaking, thanks to their ability to maintain the flavor and freshness of wine.

While they’re found in many foods and beverages, they’re particularly associated with a long list of side effects related to wine consumption, including the dreaded wine-induced headache.
